The Challenge

Quetzal operates in biopharmaceutical and food science—a technical space with multiple audience types: potential clients, investors, regulatory partners, and internal stakeholders. The challenge: be credible to experts without losing accessibility for generalist decision-makers. The previous site had credibility issues. It was either too technical or too simplistic—no middle ground that respected the audience’s intelligence while keeping concepts accessible.

What We Did

We designed information architecture for multiple audiences. Technical details are there for experts, but the primary narrative is structured for business decision-makers.

The site leads with company positioning and value proposition, then deepens into science. Product/service pages explain complexity without overcomplexity. We used clear language for concepts, with technical detail available but not forced.

Design emphasizes credibility through clean presentation, clear structure, and respect for the reader’s time. No oversimplification, no overexplaining.

Design Approach

The design reflects scientific precision without coldness. Clean typography, structured layout, thoughtful use of whitespace. The visual identity says: we’re experts, and we respect you enough not to waste your time.

The Results

Site traffic from target industries increased. Engagement time on technical pages improved. The site works for both technical and non-technical audiences.
